TVC to feature on new compilation release

Televised Crimewave will feature on the 'BREAKING ROCKS' compilation album. The 34 TRACK DOWNLOAD ALBUM released on 5th April 2010 through silverdoor records.

ALL MONEY RAISED FROM THE ALBUM WILL BE USED TO HELP FUND THE 'JAIL GUITAR DOORS' INITIATIVE.

Jail Guitar Doors is an independent initiative which aims to provide instruments to those who are using music as a means of achieving the rehabilitation of prison inmates. Founded by Billy Bragg, it takes its name from the b-side of the Clash’s 1978 single ‘Clash City Rockers’.

Musicians already involved with the initiative include Wayne Kramer (MC5), Mick Jones (The Clash).

The album is available from all major download sites priced at £8
released 19th April 2010.

it's almost christmas time and our work here is done. we are all set to travel to our mothers houses and eat our weight in roasted goodness and in my case chocolate... i have a mouth full of sweet teeth it seems.
the last two gigs of the year were tremendous affairs for the four of us, and eye for one am looking forward to 2010. merry christmas... HO HO HO

Much fun and adventure was to be had... we nearly missed trains, lost phone signal (rob nearly had a breakdown about this), made many new friends, and breathed fresh air into our otherwise london-smog ridden lungs... we'll be back before long!

We played two shows in London last week that we really ejoyed! thanks to everyone who came along! the first gig was at the victoria with the super cool 'not cool' and the awesome 'chapter sweetheart'

SCOTLAND - the evidence

Monday night and it's my first night home after the tour. Coming home is ALWAYS the worst part about going on tour, but this time we return with fond memories and even more ringing in our ears. Here is a peak into what happened...
Day 1 - The train journeys begin!

I don't have an iPOD or anything fancy like that so I have to entertain myself with pens and paper on the l-o-n-g train rides...

Venue number 1

Travelodge number 1... I know what your thinking... 'high rollers'!

Thanks to everyone who came to see us in Glasgow, especially the girls who got a Megabus from London to see us play! That is dedication!
Our friends Lauren and Kerry also made the same EPIC journey!

After the gig it was back to Art School! AWESOME!

Day 2 - Traveling light... all the way to Edinburgh!

Again the gig was incredible and it was at the 'Wee Red Bar' where the Fire Engines, Josef K and Orange Juice all cut their teeth Live... so that made it ultra special.

Post gig is a blur of trains, missed phone calls and sleep paralysis which somehow led us to drinking 'til 5am with Tom Hingley from the Inspiral Carpets, which was ACE!

Day 3
Praise the Lord!
We did not have to set foot on a train, so we got to spend the day in fife looking for Laura Palmer's body...

I think it's safe to say we all had a truly amazing time in Scotland!
Thank you to everyone who came to see us, sang karaoke, gave us home brew and made the best pie I ever ate...

Day 4 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Back to London which was also really FUN!
I totally loved the gig last night at the legion!

Yesterday was the Camden Crawl, and possibly the most fun I have ever had!
We got our grubby little hands on copies of our E.P which came out in Japan on Wednesday...

They look so cool I almost cried (with joy)... also they translated all my lyrics which only made the whole thing ever cooler!

A sneak peak at the art work which Rob and eye put together. If you look close enough you can see Kurt and Courtney in there! Sweet!

Indie bling...

There were so many amazing bands playing yesterday it was hard to know which direction to point your eyes in. Then a whisper came our way that Graham Coxon was playing in a tiny pub... after a close call we finally made it into the venue just in time, we wrote him a little love letter.

But this loser in the checked shirt wouldn't pass it forward to el Coxon!
Why did he have to crush my dreams????

The weekend rolled around again, regular as clock work and a million times more exciting. This time we ended up watching our friends KASMS being punk ass cool dudes and playing a warehouse party near our house... needless to say a LOT of fun was had. Tom was the victim of theft when a large man stole his skateboard and our friend Lou Lou lost a battle with gravity but apart from these cosmical mis haps the night was very Fun... Oh yeah Rachel kicked some loser in the balls for trying to punch her skull in too! that was funny! RIOT GRRRL! ha!
The morning was not pretty until we discovered how fun it is to play Minor Threat stupidly loud and pretend your skull isn't exploding!

As not to set a bad example we got a bit of exercise into our lives!!!

All in all one amazing day...

Evening everyone, hope you all had a fun day avoiding the rain. We had a blast staying bone dry within the safety of the Capital Radio building in Leicester Square, London where we had the pleasure of recording our first (and hopefully not the last) ever Xfm session. John Kennedy will be blasting it out over the airwaves sometime this week so keep checking myspace for more details as to when that will happen. In the mean time, here's some cool photos.
